Firpo looking good going forward but I’d like to hear that he’s getting some defensive coaching. He does the basics wrong, standing square on to wingers attacking him, diving in and making it easy for wingers to get past him, getting nutmegged far too easily. Against Blackpool we don’t get to see him being challenged defensively but that’s our achilles heel going into this season. I want to hear that it’s being addressed.

After seeing the full match, I reckon: 1. Jesse's tryin' to establish 4222, with both winger not playin wider and two forward Greenwood and Geldhard. 2. Koch is a big aerial present and bit of Leader in defence. Negative side: 1. Still not clearly any open play goal from build up. 2. Still team not showing composed control in the final third. Lots of play in defence and middle park. But in a 4222, counter press is being a positive side. But not creating clear cut open play chance of the team concern me.
