The real problem was when Leeds beat Leicester 3-1 and thought they’d won it by being a better team when I reality Leicester lost it themselves. That win paved over obvious cracks that have not been addressed. But for banters sake: I predict the play off, I predict the play offs! ;)

Such a strange season. With the points Leeds and Southampton secured they would both have gone up automatically in almost any other year. As it is both sides seem to have gone off the boil at the wrong time. Maybe neither will win the final place in the Prem from the play off final. Southampton will probably kick on stronger next season, my club Leeds have huge debts accumulated on useless players currently out on loan. We will probably have to sell our three best players over the summer, if we dont get into the Prem at the first attemp,t in order to meet the financial rules. I agree that Ipswich well deserve their success they have been the stand out team in the Championship, but Leicester have been found to have broken the rules and are getting away with it.

I can’t speak for you guys, but we (Southampton) lost quite a few games against teams we should have done better against, and I think 4th was a fair position for us given those inconsistent performances. Nonetheless, hasn’t it been a great league this season! I’ve been entertained for sure. Good luck for the playoffs and may the best team go up 👍🏻

Thats how it was years ago. We played Charlton in the play off final in Birmingham. They finished 3rd from bottom of the top division. Unfortunately we lost that but it seemed a better system if we have to have play offs

@@aragornelessar956 Firpo was at fault for both goals today, but I agree overall in last few months he's been pretty good. He made a goal line clearance to save a goal today and put in a good free kick which so many of the pther players have been struggling to manage recently. His positional sense when defending is very poor, but I dont see how we can afford to replace him if we dont go up from the Play Offs. It would be just like Firpo to assist a goal in a play off final and then get sent off for a second yellow.!

You obviously haven't seen him this season then. Been pretty consistent with 7 assists. If we don't go up, that's a player we would want to keep!
