bamfords barely played more than 15 minutes in those games. He got his first start and his first goal today. Its a good boost for the lad and will only help him. Who knows if he gets on a good run

I was at the match ….good break for Bamford and a much needed 3 points ( never in any danger) Let’s not get carried away …this Birmingham team is very poor RUTTER had a blinder …he was everywhere …they didnt know what to do with him apart from leg him up . Summerville is a menace to all teams …he takes them on and is always dangerous . BUT my favourite is James !!!…he scores …he sets goals up …he chases back and wins the ball He always outpaces the opposition ….don’t underestimate his contribution . The others played well …but Firpo worries me every time he gets near the ball or somebody takes him on . I get nervous every time he’s playing tippy tap with Cooper and the goalie in their own area . Why do it ?? Overall …going in the right direction ….let’s stop giving Farke some stick and get behind him 100%

No one seems to have mentioned firpo today apart from you. I honestly get angry with a lot of hate that many players get. I understand why firpo has had a torrid time. But I've always known there's a good player in there he just needs to stay fit and get some confidence back. Same as players like joelinton. They wouldn't be where they were if they were shite. He obviously has it in his locker. He just needs to find it again. I mean look at Dan James

@benturner3458 absolutely. Sometimes when a new player arrives and it seems to not work out at first, whether through injury or on the field, they end up being put in a perspective that is hard to let them out of, even if they do ok later. Firpo was one of the only decent players through the last third of last season. If he stays healthy, I'm confident he will hit show his worth. As you stated... Dan James is having a great season too. They are all finding themselves again this season and it is good they came down to reestablish themselves. They should be better for it in the long run.

always in elland road. Away is completely different. Southampton and leicester win home and away and are favorites for the first 2 positions. Leeds need to be consistent away otherwise will go to the play offs

Blimey, thank goodness. Well 1st off, let's have it right, Birmingham were poor. 2nd Paddy showed some good awareness, and it's nice to see him break that duck, plus I think that maybe the 1st center forwards header from open play all.season. Rutter got every free kick going, he did play well, seems the gap between defensive midfield and center forward got filled nicely. Oh, and whilst firpo got 2 assists, my god, you wouldn't know he was playing left back for large parts of the game, can you imagine that against that lad who played on the right for west brom the other week🙈 we'd get murdered. Okay, and lastly, we know Byram can be a little bit injury prone, so, let's not ask him to play 2 games a week, he often gets through a lot of yards too. Let's hope Piroe studies Paddy's positioning and movement, and maybe paddy can study piroes shooting, though at their ages, I don't think paddy can really improve, but piroe can. Anyway, 3 points, thank feck

Don’t people realise that Bamford isn’t going to be and should never be considered the saviour of Leeds United’s season. He won’t string 3 games together without injury. We should be developing our youth not ostracising them. You can’t get a playoff promotion (which is where we are going at very best) playing the same players week in week out. Farke is not the one you’ll see at the end of the season. Cracks are being painted over by beating weak teams like Birmingham but the Leicesters the Southamptons and the WBA’s of this league are going to stop us because we can’t handle them physically with the same set of players.
