As an Ipswich fan, a big thank you and also congratulations to QPR on an dominating performance and win to secure their Championship place. We at Ipswich still have a lot to do, as our 3 remaining games are against two high caliber clubs away from home (Hull and Coventry), and one desperate club at home (Huddersfield). What an amazing league fight this has been this season.

There is something seriously wrong at our club. What on earth has happened since the break it's unfathomable. Tonight was abysmal, as bad as anything we saw last April in the PL. We've had it in our hands three or four times now and completely blown it and we will blow it in the play offs as well. Don't even get me started on Piroe either, he was atrocious.

Anyone going to talk about how terrible we are from set pieces? We haven't scored from a corner since January. 150 corners since then and not a single goal. That is absolutely dire. Yet when someone gets a corner against us I'm literally worried every single time. This result aside and this season a side something is not right about our set plays.

Leeds lost to QPR, however this isn't the loss that cost automatic promotion, think Blackburn, Huddersfield, Coventry who we didn't beat in 2024 and took 1 point from and who Ipswich beat, Sunderland....There's at least a minimum 3 to 6 points in any of these games. The schedule certainly didn't benefit Leeds, that's for sure.

That's our season done, chokers as always, something to be said for our Premier League return and then a 9th place (all done in lockdown with no supporters!!!) I dont expect us to get through the play-offs. TBH I quite enjoyed this season, happy with the Championship.
